2010 Open Event Information

For the 2010 racing season, the Club has instituted a new open events policy. All events, with the exception of Opening Day and the Kenny Hein Memorial Race are part of this program. The picture below is looking across the track at the hot chute which goes thru the center of the infield. In the background, you can see the bleachers, pavillion, and scoring tower.

Our Opening Day event is for Club members only. The Kenny Hein race requires pre-registration and the event runs separately and differently from our regular weekly events.

The new Open Event program applies to all events, except as noted above, and includes the NASCAR race weekends and other special events. The program is open to all outside clubs and drivers. Driver must be registered in another club and car(s) must have a current (2010) inspection and meet LVQMRC class specifications. All cars must be gasoline powered. Driver's participation may not exceed 6 events. Kenny Hein race participation does not count towards the 6 event limit. This picture shows the flag stand and turn 1.

This will allow drivers from other organizations to participate in up to 6 events of their choosing. Because they are not Club members they will pay a slightly higher back gate fee and not be elegible for Club member benefits such as the banquet package or graduation.
